Trekking through time, an ancestral and astral journey through exquisitely curated courses, each crafted with deep reverence for heritage, language, identity, and gold.

We will be tracing culinary footprints and remnants of stories and folklore that shaped Sudan today. Our history is alive, if not on fallen walls, stolen gold, and submerged cities and ruins; then it is written on the faces, the songs, and the food of the Sudanese people.

This menu features ingredients inspired by the crops and produce harvested during the Nubian era. Renowned for their nutritional and medicinal qualities, many of these dishes are still prepared to this day using traditional techniques and recipes followed by a few modifications that fit with today’s preferences. Despite the cuisine openness and diversity, the essence of Sudanese/Nubian food remains.


ANCIENT BREWS

Welcoming you with a drink made with dates using a centuries old Nubian recipe. Using carefully selected dates, known for their natural sweetness and nutritional benefits, which are skillfully blended and infused with aromatic ingredients. (Non-alcoholic)

NILOTIC HARVEST

Embracing the way of the Sudanese Halfawis with a traditional dish tracing back to thousands of years. A combination of nilotic flavors and harvests.

Ingredients: Fish paste, Peanut Butter, Lime, Chili, Dill, Tomato

Allergies: Fish, Gluten, Garlic, Sesame, Peanuts

NUBIAN REGALIA

Just like their bejeweled crowns and royal ornaments, this signature staple Sudanese salad is adorned with a medley of local flavors.

NIGHT AT THE PYRAMIDs

Within the darkness of the night; stands abruptly more than 200 figures of royalty and dominance across the desserts and the Nile.

Ingredients: Sour cream, black sesame, fenugreek, chili

RENDEVOUX AT THE kalabasha

Priests and kings of the old kingdom approach the Temple of Kalabasha for the an offering to Mandulis.

Ingredients: Chicken thigh, burnt tomato sauce, gremolata, pickled onions, savory pancakes

25TH DYNASTY

Opulent wine fit for royalty, bursting with decedent flavors. Pharaohs’ favorite beverage. (Non-alcoholic)

CELESTIAL GROUNDS

Burials embedded within the vast desserts of Nubia that mirror galaxies and celestial realms.

Ingredients: Dates

Allergies: Nuts, Gluten

. Booking will be a minimum of 1 to maximum 6 seats.

. No alcohol will be served.

. The menu can not be adjusted if one is suffering from any food allergies.

. Booking and payment must be finalized 48 hours in advance. Any cancellations after that, the amount will not be refunded.

. Parking: Please park outside, respect available spaces, and avoid blocking others when arriving to the location.
